Interested in a career opportunity with the Niskayuna Central School
District? Then plan on attending the Capital Region School District Job Fair
in the Guilderland Senior High School Gymnasium from
3-7 p.m., Thursday, April 21. Niskayuna's Director for Student and Staff Support Services Mark Treanor will be on hand to answer questions and take applications and resumes from interested candidates.
Treanor says he is especially interested in meeting potential candidates for positions in operations and maintenance, food services and transportation, as well as certified educators who can teach English as a New Language. Applications for these positions and others will be available at the job fair, and resumes will be accepted. Interested applicants will have an opportunity to speak with Treanor informally about anticipated vacancies in the district and provide him with resumes. In addition, all potential job seekers are encouraged to periodically check the district's website for open positions at http://www.niskyschools.org/aboutus/employment.cfm.
Looking ahead to the 2016-17 school year, Treanor also says, Niskayuna will have openings in the music and physical education departments and will need an occupational therapist, and at least one psychologist as well as to fill several elementary school positions filled.
