High school math department

The program in mathematics offers preparation in the concepts and skills necessary for competence in mathematics, as well as preparation for further study. All courses in mathematics aim to increase understanding of the basic concepts of mathematics and problem solving.

Credit by Examination

A student may earn a unit of credit for either a Regents or local diploma without completing a unit of study for such unit of credit, if based on the student's past academic performance, it is determined that the student will benefit academically by exercising this alternative.
